Well…It’s finally Thanksgiving (in America…and that is not a YGO:TAS reference)!

And, if you’ve known me for any length of time, I like to take a moment and tell my friends that I am thankful for them, as a celebration.
Normally, I save this for the day OF Thanksgiving, but I have a long list of things to do over the holiday which include:
- Researching for my speech final
- Finishing my 450 page book for the last book exam in History
- Getting 5 inches of my hair cut
- Finding out if I inherited my mom’s heart problem
- Eating as much food as I can possibly cram into my body before coming back here
- Tackling Chrys IRL
- Having coffee with ‘Lisa (note me back about the phone number, or on your own head be it if we don’t meet up!)
- Hanging out with my family

And I am going to be extremely busy for the next few days, finish a few papers and other various bits of homework, as well as going to a concert.

So. I’m going to do it now. I put it in alphabetical order because I love you all. :3

Alisa- I won’t go into another long spiel about how we became friends over my t-shirt, but you are still one of my most favorite people in the entire world. We’ve been friends for three years now…Gosh, that sounds like such a long time. You don’t know how much I appreciate that I have someone back home other than my parents worrying about me as much as you do, or how much I appreciate your long, crazy comments on my work about how great I am. I do not deserve as much praise as you give me, but I thank you for it none the less. I hope I get to see you in the flesh again soon!

Aqua- To be honest, we’ve rather grown apart in the roughly year and a half since we became friends. This makes me slightly sad, but, you know, people move on and you’ve had a rough time lately. I miss all of your excited comments on everything I did and your constant pestering for me to update my fictions…without it, I’ve really stopped with my updating. Nevertheless, I am thankful for the moments I do get to talk to you, and I sincerely hope that things get better for you soon.

Becci- I am not entirely sure when or why we became friends. I guess it just sort of…happened. I think Selina asked me if I could include Sakiko in my Naruto fic and apparently I just hung around. You are supermegafoxyawesomehot at drawing and never fail to make me giggle. You are also extremely mature, which amazes me (seriously, I thought you were my age). Thanks for always lending in ear when I’m upset about my suitemate having sex in the shower and for putting up with (and sometimes laughing at) my yelling at Youtube and my strange obsession with KHR.

Chrys- It’s still kind of hard for me to believe that we’ve barely known each other for a year. You are one my favorite people in the entire world. Did you know that? I am thankful that when I do want or need a quiet day or evening (which is admittedly practically every day), you are almost always there to be a goofball with. Even though I kind of love/hate you for getting me addicted to KHR, you are still one of my best friends. Thank you for always telling me that I am awesome, even when I am a complete idiot, and for all the fun 8031 9851 roleplays, and for staying up with me into the wee hours of the morning, and being my beta for pretty much everything semi-serious that I write. I am fully going to tackle you when I see you in a few days and you had better let me or else I’ll seriously injure myself.

Mandy- Wow. I look at last year and I seriously cannot believe how much you have grown up and improved in your art since then. It inspires me, and I hope that I will continue to grow both as a person and an artist as well. Thank you for being excited about Digimon fic and thank you for always cheering me up when I am sad or angry.

Shiny- We’ve known each other for about a year now! You are truly one of the most fantastic artists I have ever met. I am jealous, but you aren’t stingy about advice, and you are nice about giving it. I am so thankful for the times that you openly tell me how much you think I rock and for the times when you look at me and tell me what I need to do to improve. I appreciate your honesty more than you can know, and I know that it is going to help me grow as an artist.

Selina- It’s been two years now, I think. The weird thing is that it is hard to imagine the internet without you there, and yet we met through such a strange, convoluted way that we very easily could have missed each other! Thank you for all the support over the years, all the IM chats, and the characters that we share in our fan-fictions. Your updates always make me smile.

And, of course, I thank all my real life friends here at college. You guys are the reason I can call this place my other home. I know I am not as social as you all and that I need to get out and hang with you more, but I appreciate the time you do share with me a lot. And to Eric specifically, thanks for helping me come up with so many clever insults and snappy comebacks. I hope our rivalry continues throughout college.

And to all of those people who left me alone and who taught my kindly through example, back during my first days as a n00b on FAC: Thank you. And to those who continue to leave me alone and who teach me kindly through example during my days as a n00b on Deviantart: Thank you.
